Our communitybased organization is offering a great opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to further their career. We focus on quality of care and aim to provide each patient with ample time to speak to our NPs to diagnose illness. Our goal is to make sure every client that enters our outpatient practice leaves satisfied and feeling like they have been cured. We are offering an opportunity within a group that has a great reputation amongst Behavioral Health Facilities. This position would have flexible hours where you can make your schedule.
Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (2 days per week)
Location: Bronx NY
Salary: $100 110/hour
Responsibilities:
Provide meaningful treatment to every client and diagnose for mental illness
Prescribing medication when appropriate
Performing psychiatric evaluations and medication management to patients of all ages in outpatient setting
Must collaborate with a team of medical Providers to ensure complete care to everyone
Review medical history and prescribe medication accordingly
Documenting notes in EMR system
Requirements:
Must be board certified or board eligible Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Preferred 1 year PMHNP experience
Experience treating children a plus
Active DEA license required
Graduate of accredited Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program
