DaytoDay Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement QA/QC Processes: Design implement and continuously improve quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure adherence to industry regulations (e.g. FDA GMP ISO standards) and internal standards.
- Manage QC Laboratory Operations: Oversee the daytoday operations of the quality control laboratory including equipment calibration maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address qualityrelated issues implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Staff Training and Education: Train and educate staff on quality control procedures best practices and compliance requirements.
- Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure proactive compliance and adaptation of quality processes.
- Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to quality control activities including reports procedures and records.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of quality control personnel fostering a culture of accountability excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Experience: More than 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control preferably in the pharmaceutical or biologics industry with exposure to API Pharma or CDMO sectors.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of industry regulations including FDA GMP and ISO standards and experience in ensuring compliance with these regulations.
- Laboratory Management: Experience in managing quality control laboratory operations including equipment management calibration and maintenance.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in executing quality control processes.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and team management abilities with a track record of effectively leading and motivating teams to achieve quality objectives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and driving continuous improvement.
- Education: Masters degree or PhD in a Biotechnology field is preferred although candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
