Reporting to the VP of Sales and Operations this person will be responsible for contributing to the development of training plans focused on sales and operations for all Structube stores. This person will serve as the goto expert for training and technical skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Development and Delivery
- In collaboration with the VP design adapt and update training programs for store employees (sales customer service inventory management POS system usage etc.).
- Develop training materials (presentations guides videos elearning modules etc.).
- Deliver inperson and online training sessions tailored to the needs of stores and employees.
- Conduct onboarding training for new hires and ongoing training for existing teams.
OntheJob Support and Coaching
- Regularly visit stores to observe employees in reallife situations and provide individual or group coaching.
- Identify specific team needs and adapt training accordingly.
- Work closely with district and store managers to ensure training is implemented and followed up effectively.
Training Assessment and Improvement
- Assess training effectiveness through employee and manager feedback as well as performance indicators (sales customer satisfaction productivity).
- Adjust and improve training content based on field needs and feedback.
- Develop evaluation tools in collaboration with the VP to measure employee progress and skill integration.
Collaboration with Internal Departments
- Work with HR marketing and operations teams to ensure training programs align with company goals.
- Participate in the implementation of new instore initiatives and procedures.
- Monitor retail trends and propose training innovations.
Administrative and Logistical Management
- Coordinate travel across Canada and manage logistics for training sessions.
- Maintain training records and track progress of trained employees.
Qualifications :
- Experience in training retail sales or store management.
- Excellent communication and group facilitation skills.
- Ability to motivate and coach sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of retail trends and best practices in customer service.
- Comfortable with digital tools and online learning platforms.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Canada.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both French and English (to collaborate effectively with Englishspeaking employees across Canada).
