Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports and forecasts.
- Budgeting: Support annual budgeting and longterm financial planning processes.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial performance and variance reports against budget and forecasts.
- Modeling: Help maintain financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) by collecting and consolidating data from multiple sources.
- Ad Hoc: Participate in ad hoc analysis and projects to support business initiatives
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve current processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with corporate accounting and other departments to ensure alignment of overall business objectives.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field is required. A Masters degree or professional certification (e.g. CFA) is a plus
- Experience: Minimum 35 years of experience with financial analysis or accounting ideally within the commercial real estate industry
- Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required (experience with pivot tables VLOOKUPs and basic modeling)
- Software: Familiarity with financial systems (e.g. Yardi REApps Workday) is a plus
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial modeling and data analysis
