Under the supervision of the Lead Artist youll be working on the colorful creative world of Rayman.
Thanks to your expertise your role will be key in creating the games atmospheres while also ensuring the accessibility of the final product. You will be responsible for maintaining the creative and artistic direction.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Technical Art Director and the programming team to design specific tools and features for ingame lighting.
- Communicate with other disciplines (animators level artists level designers etc.) to ensure their needs are met and implement an effective lighting approach.
- Demonstrate strong artistic skills.
- Understand technical constraints related to platforms and game engines.
- Provide teams with support and expertise in materials (PBR) atmospheric effects and other lightingrelated topics.
- Analyze the creative context and visual references of an effect deconstruct them and recreate them within a realtime engine.
- Ensure the ingame lighting quality meets expectations and make necessary improvements.
Qualifications :
You :
- Have a strong understanding of light behavior color theory and image composition.
- Have a Solid artistic knowledge of lighting techniques both realtime and prerendered.
- Show Creativity and proactivity in finding solutions.
- Have a strong artistic sensitivity in general.
- Have mastered Jira.
- Have mastered Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
- Have excellent problemsolving abilities and good communication skills.
- Have a good knowledge of the other roles in the video game industry.
