Job Description
Cardiac Sonographer III Part Time Weekend 2 10hr shifts 6am or 7:30am start
$7500 SignOn Bonus; Restrictions may apply
- Key Responsibility 1: Executes clinical competence in cardiac sonography in all locations across all patient types. Selects accurate equipment and technical factors on an individual patient basis and demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age of the patient.
- Actively participates in the Clinical Ladder Program if implemented at the individual System hospital/location meeting and maintaining all Program standards and requirements.
- Key Responsibility 2: Applies knowledge of cardiac sonography principles and practices including anatomy and physiology physics positioning and patient care skills. Adheres to Joint Commission State Federal and departmental regulatory compliance standards.
- Key Responsibility 3: Documents accurate patient care activity in various electronic health records systems.
- Key Responsibility 4: Ensures a safe and appropriate work environment. Maintains supplies and inventory in area. Informs appropriate colleague when supplies need to be ordered from outside vendors. Documents and reports related equipment/environmental problems and follows up for resolution in accordance with policy.
- Key Responsibility 5: Actively participates and takes a leadership role in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives and efforts to improve workflows patient experience and quality. Participates as a clinical competency evaluator for students and/or a preceptor for employee training and educational activities.
Qualifications :
Education
- Graduation from an approved and accredited Ultrasound Educational Program
Experience
- 5 years of experience
Licensures/Certifications
- RDMS certification OR CCI certification
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification

Pay Range: $37.55/hr$56.35/hr
