Job Description
Material Handler/Forklift Goshen IN
1st Shift: MonFri 7a3:30p
2nd Shift: MonFri 3p11:30p
3rd Shift: SunThurs 11p7:30a
Hourly pay range: $17$20 per hour DOE and Shift Premium
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the warehouse or production area.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks or containers.
- Organize and store inventory in appropriate locations.
- Assist in inventory control by conducting regular counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare materials for shipment and assist with packaging as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Standup Forklift & Sitdown Forklift Experience required
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials up to 50lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
