Job Description
Curative is seeking a dependable and detailoriented Janitorial Technician to join our facilities team at a large office building. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean safe and professional environment for staff and visitors. This
is a fulltime role with flexible hours between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM allowing for a customized schedule within that window.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of office spaces lobbies restrooms break rooms and common areas
- Restock supplies such as soap paper towels and toilet paper
- Restock kitchen snacks and beverages as needed
- Sweep mop vacuum and polish floors as needed
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper disposal
- Clean glass surfaces including doors and windows
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills throughout the day
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning products according to guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the facilities team
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience cleaning office buildings or commercial properties
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Comfortable using standard janitorial equipment and supplies
- Basic understanding of MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and safe chemical handling
- Basic reading and writing skills (to follow instructions safety procedures and complete checklists or logs)
- Reliable punctual and professional demeanor
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in large commercial buildings or corporate environments
- Basic understanding of building safety procedures
- Medical office experience a plus!
