Summary / Objective:

The basic function of the Service Department Assistant is to provide administrative and clerical support to the organization. His/her role is work closely with the service manager and general manager along with all dealership personnel to ensure complete and accurate processes throughout the month. This position requires attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

Service BDC:

  • Works with Service Manager to understand departments strategic direction c Develop campaigns manifest lists dealer database special events etc...
  • Initiate and maintain followup processes that meet dealerships overall strategy o Monitor and advise on all Service Marketing campaigns that dealership participates in o Develop and implement strategies for customer retention o Basic knowledge of company products (labor rates menu item prices models series options warranties vehicle maintenance standard equipment specifications). o Use schedule to efficiently fill shop with appointments o Confirm upcoming service appointments o Monitor Online reputation o Handle incoming service appointment calls o Promotes Dealership in a positive image at all times o Performs other related duties

Service Rentals:

Maintain adequate vehicle control in accordance with company guidelines.

  • Deliver excellent customer service by being professional courteous and proactive to the customers needs.
  • Resolve customer issues.
  • Accurate checking in and out of vehicle for condition mileage damage etc...
  • Verification of renters information i.e. valid drivers license insurance and method of payment.

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Professional appearance and outstanding work ethic.
  • Great attitude with a highenergy personality.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Selfstarter and selfmotivated.
  • Ability to work well in a processdriven environment.
