POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Channel Fusion Account Services team is seeking an intern to assist in comparing and analyzing advertising platforms and tools used in Australia and New Zealand with those in North America. The intern will support our largest clients marketing team by providing insights that help optimize advertising platform strategy globally to align regions.
Successful candidates will currently be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Marketing Communications or related fields will have previous job or internship experience and will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
This internship is offered as part of the Iowa International Business Internship through the Institute for International Business at Tippie College of Business as part of their mission to provide an opportunity for University of Iowa students to gain experience in areas such as: international marketing outreach global operations international communications international supply chain and international market analysis and research and more.
Location: (in person virtual hybrid open to negotiation with selected candidate)
Hours and wage: 1020 hours per week at $14.50/hour for 8 10 weeks
Responsibilities will include:
Assist the Account Services team in comparing and analyzing advertising platforms and tools used in Australia New Zealand and North America.
Prepare detailed reports highlighting regional differences trends and insights that support decisionmaking in platform features and strategy optimization.
Collaborate with the clients marketing team to provide actionable insights that help optimize advertising platform strategies for their specific needs.
Monitor industry developments and emerging tools to provide uptodate recommendations and contribute to continuous improvement in marketing strategies.
What you will learn:
Understand channel partnerships (resellers dealers distributors etc.)
Key performance indicators (KPIs) in channel marketing.
Managing cobranded marketing initiatives.
Learning to interpret marketing analytics and make datadriven recommendations.
Exposure to B2B Marketing and Technology trends.
Gaining experience in project management collaboration tools.
