Job Description
Job Position: Certified Surgical Technologist
Location: Greenvale NY
Schedule: Monday through Friday 5x8s (Day Shifts)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Nights/Weekends/Holidays: No nights weekends major holidays or oncall
Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join a highperforming surgical team in a fulltime direct hire role. This position offers a stable weekday schedule with no night shifts weekends or holiday/oncall requirements supporting a diverse range of surgical specialities.
Surgical Specialties Include:
- Orthopedics
- Total Joint Replacement
- General Surgery
- Plastics
- ENT
- Pain Management
- Podiatry
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (Technical Diploma)
- Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 1 year of hospital surgical experience
- At least 1 year of experience specifically in orthopedics
- Strong communication critical thinking and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to effectively interact with personnel across all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- 23 years of experience in a Surgical Technologist role
