Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Redbridge to assist with the appointment of a Senior Housing Officer on a 5month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 17.85 23.08 per Hour
Summary:
This role is vital to maintaining high service standards while we complete an ongoing departmental restructure. The successful candidate will drive performance support staff and lead engagement with residents stakeholders and partners to address key housing and community issues.
Responsibilities:
- Motivate develop and manage Housing Officers to champion neighbourhoods and resident priorities.
- Embed a customerfirst culture across all operations.
- Oversee and respond to resident and councillor queries and complaints effectively.
- Work with internal departments and external partners on delivery of major works compliance and investment programmes.
- Ensure Health & Safety equality and diversity standards are met across all operations.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in housing management and leading neighbourhood teams.
- Strong knowledge of tenancy enforcement antisocial behaviour and resident engagement.
- Ability to manage budgets resources and performance against strategic objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal problemsolving and partnershipbuilding skills.
- Understanding of equality health & safety and local government frameworks.
