Job Description
EDUCATION:
Must have a high school diploma an equivalent certificate or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
Requires the use of blueprints simple arithmetic and simple measuring devices
EXPERIENCE:
Experience in interiors installation refurbishment or modification is preferred
JOB SUMMARY:
Remove existing interior installation on a wide range of Textron Aviation Aircraft. Accomplish interior refurbishment and/or modification activities on removed interiors. Reinstall refurbished and/or modified interiors into Textron Aviation Aircraft typically in conjunction with maintenance activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work from aircraft orders production inspection records engineering orders and planning to perform interior installations and adjustments of upholstery furniture and accessories per standard shop practices
Support layout requirements and investigates installation details for unique or first time interior installations
Complete varying levels of interior modifications on all types of Textron Aviation aircraft
With some supervision accomplish the desired end modification objective utilizing the most efficient and economical methods possible as directed by supervision
Perform basic installation and refurbishment work. Assures installations and product inspection records and parts tagging are worked in accordance with Quality Control manual
Keep surrounding work area clean emphasizing cleanliness of the aircraft interior and protection of customer property at all times
Use of a variety of hand and power tools and basic measuring instruments
Responsible for quality of own work
Perform other related duties as required
