Summary
POSITION INFORMATION
Position summary:
The Pharmacy Intern position is enrolled in the internship program which consists of both pharmacy inpatient operational and decentralized clinical responsibilities. Southwest General is committed to facilitating the incorporation of classroom didactic learning with realworld work experience. The intern will rotate through a variety of roles including but not limited to inpatient operations sterile compounding medication histories participation in clinical pharmacy staff presentations and research opportunities.
The internship program will be a minimum 12week summer commitment which will be divided into the different intern roles. There will also be a minimum of 1 weekend commitment every 8 weeks during the academic year. Roles and responsibilities will be enhanced and adjusted as the intern progress through their didactic education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy

Ohio Pharmacy intern license
