Landscape Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape construction project management and cost estimation.

Position Summary:

The Landscape Project Manager communicates daily with our clients sales team foremen crews contractors and suppliers to ensure a highquality and efficient landscape project for worldrenowned estates. Analyzes scope specifications and other documentation presented to prepare cost and revenue proposals (considering all costs labor materials and services involved) for proposed projects. Ensuring that all work is completed profitably according to the contract and clients satisfaction while maintaining Marders standards. This individual will need to be knowledgeable in safety compliance general landscape and construction practices.

• Scheduling crews coordinating and supervising projects ensuring production quality and budget controls. This includes the coordination of all machinery labor & materials for the project.
• Improving scheduling efficiencies held accountable for relaying all information on the consequences/effects of schedule changes to account managers at the time of request for their job and impact on other Account Managers jobs.
• Communicating with the Account Manager before any decision is made to change the plan on a job.
• Partner with Account Managers Landscape Drafter and their clients for the design and installation of Landscape Projects.
• Daily communication with the foreman to ensure that the project is progressing according to schedule.
• Identifying labor material and time requirements by communicating with the Account Manager and analyzing related documents. This includes communication with subcontractors to identify costs.
• Computing costs by analyzing labor material and time requirements.
• Estimating
• Timely completion of job packages while following Marders procedures
• Tagging material in the yard identifying buyins and coordinating with the buying department when needed.
• Secure and assist with scheduling all items for the job once the contract has been signed i.e. labor machines plant material subcontractors and utility mark outs.
• Daily monitoring and updating contract as the project progresses to ensure that all additions and changes are being accurately recorded to ensure job profitability including but not limited to buy
  
  

PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Horticulture or similar
• Exceptional Project Management Organizational and ProblemSolving skills
• Understand plant material soil types irrigation systems and landscape construction methods
• Ability to read and understand plans/ landscape design drawings
• Excellent People and Management skills
• Experience in Salesforce and ERP systems
• Positive attitude and a team player
• Problem Solver
