Job Description
- Recruit and retain foster carers by providing them with the required training and support.
- Fixed Term Parental Leave Backfill 30th June 2025 to 27th Feb 2026 full time based at our office in Dandenong.
Your role:
- Case management of foster carer households. Providing foster carers with support and training development recommendations when required.
- Present and deliver carer foster care information sessions.
- Match foster children to foster carers in the intake space.
- Assess the foster carers matching requirements and identify potential placements for new carers.
- Take enquiries from the community to support the recruitment of new carer households.
- Think strategically and work as part of a team to overcome the challenges associated with the recruitment of new carers.

About you:
- Case management skills and experience.
- A demonstrated ability to support clients by providing recommendations for training goal setting and supervision.
- Friendly demeanour to talk to people enquiring to be foster carers and encourage the application process.
- Notforprofit experience and previous outofhome home care sector knowledge is highly desirable
- Highly developed interpersonal skills communicating with influence organisational planning and relationship management skills.
Qualifications/Licenses:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work welfare or related disciplines or matching skills to perform the role.
- Drivers license.

- Salary starts at around $97377 (Level 5 SCHCADS)
- Office location: Dandenong
- Full time fixed term parental leave backfill until 27th Feb 2026.
