Job Description SummaryProvide shop floor support for manufacturing. Accountable for both quality assurance and quality control of products manufacturing processes and outside vendor services. Own gage and CMM validation and out of tolerance investigations. Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations. Lead team in defining effective Root Cause Corrective Actions. Lead investigation for Work Station Audit findings Product Audit findings and Customer Returns. Support manufacturing engineering team to monitor and analyze process capability and define process improvement plans. Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods. Work together with Rutland team across all levels of the organization.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
The Product Quality Engineer is responsible for product quality review associated with the manufacturing process.
- Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge.
- Requires developing a strong foundation of functional skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.
- Provide shop floor support for manufacturing
- Accountable for both quality assurance and quality control of products manufacturing processes and outside vendor services
- Own gage and CMM validation and out of tolerance investigations
- Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
- Lead team in defining effective Root Cause Corrective Actions
- Lead investigation for Work Station Audit findings Product Audit findings and Customer Returns
- Support manufacturing engineering team to monitor and analyze process capability and define process improvement plans
- Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
- Strong understanding of QMS AS9100D or similar
- Work together with Rutland team across all levels of the organization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
- 3 years of Manufacturing experience
