Job Description
Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars utility and personal transportation vehicles snowmobiles sidebysides allterrain vehicles professional turfcare equipment and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories airports to planned communities and theme parks to hunting preserves.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate all service activities to meet customer schedules and goals.
- Manage daily weekly and monthly performance against established financial goals and metrics.
- Check and report on status of service and act to eliminate delays and parts shortages.
- Manage workforce headcount schedules (time off request attendance) payroll and employee relations (discipline).
- Manage accurate inventory levels and part tracking.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities and employee training needs.
- Drive root cause corrective action problem solving initiatives to achieve improved safety quality delivery and cost.
- Ensure adequate supply of tools equipment and materials for efficient location operations.
- Assist with recommendations regarding workplace layouts service methods and efficiencies by auditing operations to improve service flow and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Bachelors degree and 2 or more years of experience required OR in lieu of degree a HS Diploma/GED required and 8 or more years of automotive/maintenance experience required
- Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint Excel Word)
- Must possess a valid driver license and comply with TSV pool fleet and DOT policies
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport issued ID badge
- Demonstrated knowledge of Diesel Engines Electrical systems Hydraulics and Generators
