Make an impact at Serco
As an HVAC Technician at Clarence Correctional Centre youll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient facility. Reporting to the Building Supervisor youll be responsible for responding to maintenance needs repairing plant and equipment and ensuring compliance with safety and legislative requirements. Youll work as part of a dedicated Facilities Management team making a real difference in a dynamic and secure environment.
As an HVAC Technician youll make a positive impact by:
- Responding to and rectifying maintenance issues efficiently
- Carrying out repairs on HVAC mechanical services and plant equipment
- Conducting planned preventative maintenance as per the Asset Management Plan
- Assisting with minor projects and system enhancements
- Ensuring compliance with National and State legislation
- Supporting team members with diagnostics technical advice and training

- A valid air conditioning and refrigeration licence
- Extensive experience in electrical maintenance within a complex environment
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work autonomously
- A commitment to workplace safety and best practices
- The ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical team members
- A high level of integrity teamwork and professionalism
