Job Description
Glue Assembly Elkhart IN
1stShift 5:00am2:30pm $14.50/hr.
2ndShift 4:00pm2:30am $14.50/hr.
Job Duties:
- Operate equipment with a high degree of safety in mind.
- Ensure levels of high quality in all work performed.
- Ensure that all components and assembled parts are properly labeled with complete information.
- Deliver scheduled work on time and complete to next workstation.
- Maximize material yield in all work performed. Ensure that adhesive is flowing from equipment in proper volume and that substrate is being targeted and hit with adhesive. Minimize overspray.
- Assemble only what is ordered per the cut sheets.
- Maintain a clean and clutter free work area at all times.
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of spray equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous Glue Assembly experience.
- Good attendance and job longevity required.
- Ability to lift and or move up to 25lbs. throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to stand walk bend and stoop.
- Ability to use hands to finger handle and feel.
- Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- Ability to understand and communicate (talkreadhear) work instructions.
- Must be able to read numbers and compute basic math calculations
- Must be able to read a tape measure Basic organizational skills
