Job Description
Production Lead 1st Shift
Priority will be given to internal candidates
Job Description Summary: responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of a production line ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently safely and within the specified timeframe.

Schedule: Monday Thursday 5:00am3:30pm. Overtime as needed on Fridays.
Essential Functions Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of production workers to ensure that daily production goals are met
- Develop and implement efficient production processes and procedures
- Ensure that all workers follow safe work practices and comply with company policies and procedures
- Monitor and manage production line performance including production output quality control and waste reduction
- Collaborate with other departments such as Maintenance Quality Control and Supply Chain to resolve production issues and improve processes
- Train and mentor production workers on best practices and new procedures
- Prepare production reports and maintain accurate records of production output and efficiency
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency
- Collaborate and work in other production areas as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors degree in a related field is preferred but not required
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in a production supervisory role
- Knowledge of quality control and safety regulations
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology is preferred
Skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Work Environment
- Ability to work in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment
