Position Summary
The La Salle University Nurse Anesthesia Program is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach in the post BSN to DNP program by participation in didactic and clinical curriculum recruitment and evaluation with the support of Nurse Anesthesia Program Director and Assistant Program Director. .
Required Qualifications
Five or more years of clinical experience in the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist ( CRNA ) role. (Standard B9a) Prelicensure masters or doctoral degree with a Nurse Anesthesia major from a regionally accredited institution and nationally accredited nurse anesthesia program (or equivalent) with graduate preparation in the basic and clinical sciences relevant to nurse anesthesia practice. (Standard B9b) Demonstrated record of professional and clinical experience instruction (teaching) curriculum evaluation development and scholarship. (Standard B9c) Knowledge of current CRNA practice and related professional issues (standard B9d) Current knowledge of institutional and programmatic accreditation requirements for nurse anesthesia educational programs (Standard B9e) Earned doctorate preferred in nursing or related field from an institution of higher education that was accredited by an agency officially recognized by the US Secretary of Education to accredit institutions at the time the degree was conferred. (Standard B10) A current unencumbered license to practice as a registered professional nurse (RN) and/or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse ( APRN ) in Pennsylvania. (Standard B11) Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist ( CRNA ) licensure by the NBCRNA . (Standard B12) Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty staff and student environment. Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University and diversity equity inclusion and social justice initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching in higher education environment preferred.
