Job Description

Summary

Job Summary

Manages and coordinates administrative functions within an assigned office or division.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assists with developing specific department goals standards and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management staff satisfaction and conflict management.
  • Monitors department budgets and contracts regulatory compliance and vendor relations.
  • Determines and justifies needs for systems equipment supply purchases monitors usage and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
  • Provides input and assists manager with corrective actions.
  • Coordinates courier deliveries with physician offices and all internal and external customers as needed.
  • Manages and distributes assigned calendars and relevant schedules.
  • Develops staff schedule and manages time in the organizations timekeeping software.
  • Provides thorough documentation excellent communication education and guidance to staff.
  • Assists with evaluating department environment revising procedures improving efficiency ensuring climate safety and proper cleanliness and maintenance and initiating cost reduction programs.
  • Types various reports and documents photocopies and distributes and/or files as necessary.
  • Performs duties of purchasing agent for department through requisition entry equipment inventory and record keeping in accordance with budget guidelines.
  • Schedules and coordinates necessary meetings conferences special events appointments and travel arrangements.
  • Establishes and maintains filing systems.
Qualifications
  • Associates degree or higher in related field required upon hire
  • A combination of education training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience required
  • No licensure/certification/registration required

  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
