Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Problem Solving Skills: Machine operators will need to know why machines are not at peak performance how to increase output and how to fix errors.
- Attention to Detail: Machine operators will work with precision equipment. Being off by millimeters could be a critical error.
- Mechanical and Technical Skills: Some machines are controlled by computers and operators will need to work with CAD/CAM technology. Others are highly mechanical and operators will need to know how and why they work.
- Ability to use machine operators often work long hours doing repetitive movements.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read schematics work and complex instructions how and make sure items are designed and built correctly.
- Able to read need to read and understand blueprints schematics models and other specifications.
- Know the basic welding symbols welding gases straightening and tweaking techniques and heat shrinkage.
- Follow company policies in regard to workmanship standards quality policy and customer specifications.
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification a plus.
Experience Requirement:
Work Experience:
- Semiconductor experiences a plus.

- Prolonged sitting with some standing and bending intermittently during work hours.
- Subject to interruptions
Environmental Exposure:
- Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable.
- Subject to frequent interruptions.
- Ability to talk on phone and use computer for extended periods of time may be required.
- May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers faxes computers etc.
Overnight Travel:
Work may require out of town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting).
