The Operational Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of production employees to achieve goals and maintain high standards of quality. This role will require a combination of technical expertise leadership skills and effective communication to drive team success.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Partner with the Leadership on employee scheduling labor efficiency work instructions and throughput.
Collaborate with other area leads and supervisors to facilitate crosstraining opportunities; develop employee knowledge in multiple skill sets.
Implement work instructions to ensure employee knowledge and accuracy is up to date.
Collaborate with purchasing production scheduler and shipping to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for all parts.
Effectively communicate maintenance issues and repair and replace consumables as needed.
Serve as a positive leader and mentor by exhibiting and instructing desirable behaviors and skill sets.
Serve as the initial point of contact and primary support resource for employees functioning as the first line of defense in addressing and resolving various issues they may encounter.
Perform other related or nonrelated duties as assigned through onthejob training.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent and/or a combination of experience and education required.
Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing and/or distribution setting with some leadership responsibilities required.
35 years in years in manufacturing and/or distribution setting with some leadership responsibilities preferred.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead: working team member who coordinates supports trains and is a knowledge resource for other team members. No direct reports or supervisory responsibility.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is subject to Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Visual Acuity
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
Working Conditions
The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions including heat noise vibration and hazards from a productionbased environment.
