Role Overview As the VP of Business Operations and Administration you will be a pivotal member of the executive team blending strategic vision with handson execution. Your role will involve crossfunctional support working on the companys core business processes across business operations finance HR sales contracts and general administration laying the foundation for sustainable growth. You will thrive in a fastpaced constantly evolving environment collaborating across all functions and helping their team move from ambitious vision to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Business Operations
Design and optimize companywide operational processes to drive efficiency transparency and scalability.
Collaborate with operations leaders (engineering product gotomarket) to set team goals develop KPIs and drive strategic initiatives.
Identify bottlenecks and pain points implementing practical solutions tailored for highgrowth startups.
Enhance contractual and business operations processes including contracts administration (NDA Teaming Customer Contracts Partner contracts Vendors) forecasting and reporting.
Finance
Liaise with finance & accounting teams to ensure standard finance and accounting processes are maintained.
Oversee budgeting forecasting financial modeling and spend management.
Work closely with the Executive Team to ensure strong cash flow capital discipline and investor communications.
Human Resources
Build and scale People Operations from the ground upsupporting recruiting onboarding performance management and culture initiatives.
Ensure compliance with employment law and collaborate on HR policies suitable for a growing tech startup.
Administration
Develop and optimize administrative systems to support rapid team expansion including facilities tools policies and vendor management.
Manage contracts insurance and risk policies appropriate for an earlystage tech company. Coordinate reviews with external stakeholders as appropriate (Legal Compliance etc.).
Desired Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Operations Finance or relevant field; MBA or similar experience in highgrowth startups strongly preferred.
10 years of experience in business operations finance or general management roles; startup or Series AB company experience highly valued.
Proven success in building and scaling operational functions in a technologydriven fastpaced environment.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with handson execution.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to forge crossfunctional relationships.
Datadriven mindset with high comfort using operational and financial metrics to make decisions.
Experience working with founders/executive teams and investors is a plus.
Passion for innovation adaptability and a desire to help build from the ground up.
