The Opportunity
The Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University is seeking an enthusiastic and forwardthinking academic to join the Department of HumanCentred Computing (HCC). This Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to Action Lab a dynamic multidisciplinary research group that conducts applied impactdriven research in collaboration with local national and international communities notforprofit organisations healthcare entities and government bodies.
This role offers the chance to drive the development of humancentred scalable systems through a blend of teaching and research. Embedded within the innovative environment of Action Lab you will create and implement software solutions that directly tackle realworld challenges with a focus on meeting the diverse and practical needs of various stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who thrives in interdisciplinary settings and is passionate about conducting research that has a tangible positive impact. Your ability to build strong partnerships within and beyond the University will be crucial to your success. The ideal candidate will have a futurefocused collaborative mindset and a commitment to advancing both research and education in ways that make a lasting difference.
