Caregiver

Job Summary

Griswold Home Care is looking for an experienced fulltime Caregiver to join our team at the Merrimack Valley franchise in Andover Massachusetts. The Caregivers primary responsibilities will be to provide loving and compassionate personal care and supportive services to clients addressing their physical emotional and social needs. The successful candidate will be a patient teamplayer who can multitask and has strong communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a fulltime hourly position with competitive wages and an extensive benefits package including medical dental and vision coverage as well as vacation sick and holiday pay.

Responsibilities

Develop personalized care plans for clients according to their specific needs

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing grooming and dressing

Monitor clients moods and report any changes to supervisor

Keep records of client care condition progress and concerns

Follow prescribed health and safety procedures

Maintain a clean and organized client space

Requirements

Minimum of one year of experience providing care to seniors or people with disabilities

CPR certification (or willing to obtain certification)

Ability to assume an active role in maintaining client safety

Previous experience operating mobil lifts and other assistive technologies

Strong communication and organizational skills

Flexible schedule willing to work evenings and weekends

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check
