Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a detailoriented Manual Software Tester Intern to join our Translation Software Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements and are free of defects. This role involves close collaboration with developers project managers and other stakeholders to deliver highquality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases and report defects.
- Develop document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data data validation harness scripts and automated scripts.
- Identify record document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Monitor debugging process results.
- Investigate the causes of nonconforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Track quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts.
Qualifications
Internships are for current temple worthy members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints
You should be currently enrolled (or within one year of your graduation date) from an accredited college or university
Technology background is highly preferred
Highly computer literate and familiar with various operating system and internet browser environments and cloud technology
Excellent communication skills for interacting with and providing information to management levels will be needed
Project management experience is desired
Exposure to software testing
Familiarity with programming languages (Python Java/J2EE C# JavaScript XML C#)
Familiarity with applications/frameworks (such as Microsoft Dynamics Azure Git AWS Selenium Cypress)
Familiarity with databases
Time management skills
Ability to interact well in a team environment
Self motivated
Strong attention to detail
Scripting or coding will be required in interview
