SPAs Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients including the Undersea Enterprise the Navy Surface Community the Navy MPTE Enterprise the Air Force Army DoD Agencies DARPA international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defense Force. Our primary objective is to provide timely objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy operational technical programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients challenges. Leveraging both indomain and crossdomain expertise to maximize our clients success SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decisionmakers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights systems engineering strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.
The AUKUS Submarines and Industrial Base Group (ASIG) within the Sea Land Air Division provides timely objective analytic assessments that integrate technical operational programmatic policy and business analysis to NAVSEA Team Submarine program offices and key stakeholders surrounding submarine platform construction. Team Submarine unifies submarine platform procurement activities which includes the Columbiaclass SSBN program (a Major Defense Acquisition Program and the Navys top acquisition priority) the Virginiaclass SSN program and the new SSNX program (developing the next generation attack submarine) to bring improved capabilities to our undersea forces. Analysts and Engineers supporting Team Submarine will continue SPAs decades of support to the SSBN force as well as supporting oversight of cuttingedge attack submarine construction assisting in developing the design requirements for the SSN platform of the future and helping plan and execute new and innovative strategies to strengthen the critical submarine shipbuilding industrial base. These are highprofile major acquisition and manufacturing programs of significant importance to the future capabilities of the US Navy in an era of renewed strategic competition.
The AUKUS COMSUBFOR team within ASIG is charged with delivering highquality timely tracking analysis and policy solutions to a variety of challenging problems in the man/train/equip (raise/train/sustain) space. We work in a dynamic environment with new information and bureaucratic realities often forcing adjustments in approach and priorities. Current chartered lines of effort include workforce modeling and future workforce development policy development training strategy implementation knowledge transfer and operational process development.#MC
Your role will be to 1) Develop expertise in assigned areas through completion of assigned training written research and interviews with subject matter experts 2)Maintain status drive progress and provide frequent updates on all assigned tasks 3)Communicate clearly and concisely across a wide range of products including email afteraction reports policy or other structured papers data analytics and flaglevel briefings 4)Organize and support virtual and inperson meetings where much of our difficult trilateral coordination is accomplished 5)Exercise project leadership 6) Design plan organize deliverables and ensure that strategic intent of all assigned projects is met 7) Motivate mentor and lead purposebuilt teams across functional organization and international boundaries to accomplish objectives and 8) Build new relationships as necessary.
