NOTE: Senate Bill 411 merged the Department of Corrections and the Board of Probation and Parole. This position is within the Department of Corrections.
As a ReEntry Parole Agent 1 you will be responsible for the Reentry Service Office at SCI Fayette. Your focus in this role is to prepare inmates for their release to the community. You will provide workshops and support for inmates in the release process. In this position you will interact with the reentry team to provide information facilitate cognitive behavior groups and conduct interventions in groups and individually. You can expect to assist reentrants in formulating primary and alternative parole plans as well as employment plans. Additionally you may also be assigned to a Technical Parole Violator Program Unit as a team member and provide reentry services.
Successful completion of the 12month training and probationary period will result in a promotion to Parole Agent 2 with an increase in salary!
