Jackson Automotive Group has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Volkswagen Certified Service Technician at our reputable automotive dealership in Macon GA. If you have excellent skills along with a friendly demeanor and strong organizational abilities we want to hear from you!
Requirements
- Performing maintenance and repair on customer vehicles
- Identifying problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment
- Explaining automotive repairs and issues and providing great customer service
- Planning repair procedures using charts manuals and experience
- Testing the functionality of parts and systems
- Inspecting testing and replacing parts
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on vehicles such as changing oil checking fluids and lubricating parts
- Maintaining knowledge of current industry best practices
- Maintaining paperwork and customer records
- Ensuring equipment longevity
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge and ability to operate auto repair tools
Knowledge and ability to use diagnostic tools
Wellversed in the use of automotive tools in general
Willingness to participate in inhouse training programs
