Job Description
Skills You Bring To this Role:
Experience and knowledge related to nonmetallic materials and processing of polymer matrix composites and structural bonding utilizing epoxy resinbased materials with carbon and glass fiber reinforcements is required.
Experience with BMI resinbased products is preferred but not necessary.
Experience with material qualification programs and statistical data reduction of test results is preferred.

Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering Materials Science Engineering or other materials focused engineering degree. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
Ability to prioritize work attention to detailstrong analytical and problemsolving skills with a team player mindset.
Excellent communicator must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers internal and external suppliers and brief leaders/customers.
Ability to coach mentor and develop early career engineers
Youll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule

Principal NonMetallic Materials & Processes Engineer:
Youll work with Design Teams Procurement Quality and Manufacturing to ensure materials and process requirements are successfully implemented.
Youll be able to make an impact by resolving materials issues; and developing improved materials and process be able to hone your technical abilities while gaining experience in leadership and communication.
What youll be doing as a Principal NonMetallic Materials & Processes Engineer:
Provide nonmetallic materials & process guidance to Design and Manufacturing teams during all phases of product development Design Test Production and Sustainment.
Influence and guide material selection through collaboration with Integrated Product Teams.
Develop and evaluate new and improved materials and process methods including the creation and execution of test plans test reports and development and maintenance of material and process specifications.
Collaborate with Supply Chain & Manufacturing organizations to resolve manufacturing issues and perform onsite technical assessments of suppliers.
