St. Olaf College in Northfield MN seeks Assistant Professor of Mathematics to serve as a member of the faculty holding appointment in Department of Mathematics Statistics and Computer Science. The successful candidate will provide the full range of services as a member of the faculty including teaching five courses per year at all levels of curriculum from introductory courses to advanced upperlevel courses meeting ACM/IEEE standards for undergraduate programs. Regular teaching responsibilities include all levels of mathematics specializing in algebra. Duties also involve ongoing professional development curriculum development student advising and service in department/college committees.
Salary: $73950 $76014
Qualifications
PhD in Mathematics and one year of experience teaching collegelevel mathematics. Publications or thesis in algebra.
