Epitaxy Equipment Technician
HIGHLIGHTS
Location: Tempe Arizona
Job Type: FullTime
Hourly / Salary: Based on Experience
Residency Status: US Citizen or Green Card Holder ONLY
Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and handson Equipment Technician with specific experience in Epitaxy tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate maintain and troubleshoot Epitaxy equipment in a cleanroom environment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on wafer fab and related semiconductor processing equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and process teams to ensure optimal tool performance and uptime.
- Utilize electromechanical knowledge to diagnose system issues and execute corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation of maintenance and performance activities.
- Handson experience working with Epitaxy tools is required.
- Facilities experience not expert but a working understanding of the facilities (peripheral equipment to the Epi tools)
- Secondary experience with wafer fab equipment preferred.
- Strong electromechanical aptitude and comfort working with complex machinery.
- Proven track record in equipment maintenance troubleshooting and tool uptime optimization.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced hightech manufacturing environment.
- Experience in highvolume semiconductor fabrication environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive teamoriented mindset.
- Local candidates strongly preferred due to the handson nature of the role.
