Job Description
Respiratory Therapist 13weeks Contract
Job Details:
- Location: Rochester NY 14626
- Shift: 12hr Nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1872 $2016
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to patients with breathing disorders as per physicians orders.
- Assess and evaluate patient conditions and recommend appropriate respiratory therapy treatments.
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions treatments and proper equipment use.
- Monitor and document patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control policies.
- Perform sleep disorder studies and therapy as required.
Requirements:
- Actively licensed as a Respiratory Therapist or Respiratory Therapy Technician in the state of New York.
- Associates or Bachelors degree from an Accredited Respiratory Care Program.
- Minimum of 2 years in respiratory therapy.
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
- CRT / RRT Certified by National Board for Respiratory Care
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 50mile radius qualify for travel pay.
