Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with modern DevOps tools and practices cloud platforms (AWS) container orchestration (Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation. You will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable secure and highly available infrastructure ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Design deploy and manage scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes and Istio.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.

Use Ansible and scripting (Bash Shell) for configuration management and automation.

Integrate and manage monitoring and logging solutions (e.g. Fluent Bit).

Implement service mesh and multicluster connectivity using Skupper.

Collaborate with development teams to support microservices and eventdriven architectures using Kafka.

Manage version control using Git and promote GitOps practices.

Troubleshoot issues perform root cause analysis and implement longterm fixes.

Work closely with crossfunctional teams demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency with DevOps tools: Kubernetes Istio Ansible Git Skupper Fluent Bit Kafka.

Basic knowledge of Python for scripting and automation tasks.

Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and related services.

Strong scripting skills in Bash and Shell.

Solid understanding of Linux (Ubuntu) environments.

Handson experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

Experience with monitoring logging and performance tuning.

Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation).

Familiarity with GitOps frameworks (e.g. ArgoCD Flux).

Exposure to security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.

Prior experience in a fastpaced startup or agile team environment.
