Job Description

We re looking for a confident and proactive Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of Sort Group in our South Shields office.

This is more than just a front desk role it s an opportunity to join a professional and ambitious business where your people skills organisation and communication will help shape first impressions and keep things running smoothly.

Youll be handling inbound calls across all parts of the Group greeting clients and visitors and supporting teams with onboarding compliance and daytoday administrative duties. If you love working with people and keeping a busy office ticking over we want to hear from you.

Requirements

What you ll be doing:

  • Acting as first point of contact for all incoming calls and visitors
  • Managing the office switchboard and ensuring calls are directed quickly and efficiently
  • Meeting and greeting visitors clients contractors and other stakeholders
  • Supporting new business processes including onboarding and AML/KYC admin
  • Liaising with internal teams and external partners
  • Providing general administrative support as needed
  • Helping the business maintain an exceptional frontofhouse experience


What we re looking for:

  • Someone confident on the phone and in person you ll be the first impression for many clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A cando proactive attitude you re happy to take initiative and solve problems
  • Strong attention to detail and great organisational skills
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Good IT skills especially with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Previous experience in a professional office or clientfacing environment preferred

This is a fully officebased role but we re open to both fulltime and parttime working patterns for the right person.

Base salary of 25000 (Pro rata for parttime hours)
