Job Description
We are currently looking for a skilled Software Developer in Test
The ideal candidate profile is a Java Developer with experience in testing positions with developerlevel Java knowledge very strong experience in test automation (Cucumber) plus knowledge of Python and SQL.
Start date: ASAP
Project duration: 12 months (with possibility to extend it)
- Create enhance and maintain automation frameworks to support the digital tools and technology solutions delivered to clients and internal users.
- Utilize a wide array of software engineering skills from assessing user requirements and feature development to implementing automated testing and deployment strategies.
- Uphold the quality security and reliability of systems by following digital best practices and addressing both functional and nonfunctional specifications.
- Embed observability into systems monitor production environments manage incidents and address root causes to prevent recurrence.
- Represent the voice of the client ensuring their needs are well understood and integrated into solutions.
- Actively contribute to team knowledge sharing and participate in strengthening the engineering culture and internal tech communities.
- Fluent English
- Over 8 years of experience in designing and developing automation frameworks using both Java and Python.
- Deep handson proficiency in Java and Python programming.
- Strong familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright Cucumber and TestNG.
- Experience in creating CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitLab or Jenkins.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts and domain experts across global teams.
- Proven experience in applying testing methodologies within Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with GitLab Autosys and Unix shell scripting.
- Solid working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL including packages procedures functions and SQL queries.
- Experience with Azure services particularly AKS and Databricks is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills including technical writing and delivering presentations.
