AssistNow is a forwardthinking company specializing in AIdriven products and Workday solutions with a growing presence in the hospitality industry. We are looking for a detailoriented Accounts Executive to support our finance and compliance functions across both business verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Accounting Operations:
- Manage daily bookkeeping using Zoho Books.
- Record journal entries expenses and payments accurately.
- Reconcile bank accounts credit card statements and vendor balances.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Zoho Books Expertise:
- Use Zoho Books for general ledger maintenance invoicing tax configuration and multicurrency handling.
- Customize and generate financial reports and dashboards.
- Optimize accounting workflows and ensure data integrity within Zoho Books.
Tax & Statutory Compliance:
- Assist in timely and accurate filing of GST TDS PF and PT.
- Maintain supporting documentation for all statutory filings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian tax laws and regulations.
Audit Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory audits.
- Provide necessary financial data and ensure closure of audit observations.
- Maintain uptodate audit files and support yearend closing.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Assist in preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial reports (P&L Balance Sheet Cash Flow).
- Support budgeting variance analysis and other ad hoc reporting needs.
Requirements
- Experience: 3 5 years in accounting or finance roles.
- Zoho Books: Must have strong handson experience.
- Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of GST TDS PF and PT.
- Accounting Principles: Knowledge of doubleentry bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Tools: Proficient in Excel Google Sheets and accounting software.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience: 3 5 years in accounting or finance roles. Zoho Books: Must have strong hands-on experience. Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of GST, TDS, PF, and PT. Accounting Principles: Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and financial reporting. Tools: Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration. Attention to Detail: High accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities.
