Summary of Position
The Production Manager position will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the companys culture and achievement of goals. The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all production process and teams within Washington operations.
- Oversee and manage all production supervisors.
- Plan and execute the production schedule.
- Set plan and meet all production targets and goals.
- Review and adjust production schedule as needed.
- Ensure the timely completion of all directreport employee reviews.
- Coach and guide all production team members with the goal of improving overall competency of the production staff.
- Manage human and material resources needed to meet production targets.
- Make decisions about equipment use maintenance modification and procurement.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for production operations.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Set and monitor product quality standards.
- Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives.
- Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems.
- Determine and implement improvements to the production process.
- Prepare and maintain production reports.
- Estimate production costs.
- Set and manage production budgets implementing cost control and cost saving programs.
- Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between departments including quality engineering maintenance procurement logistics warehouse and management.
- Monitor KPIs looking at OEE and labour hours per watt/panel.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 7 years of production experience
- Minimum 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Knowledge of process improvement budgeting and production standards
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years experience as a production manager in a manufacturing plant
- Experience with production planning controls and instrumentation
- Experience with MRP and/or ERP systems
