What you will do:
You will serve on the SCDOR DORWAY Integrated Tax System Production Support team as a Subject Matter Expert for the implementation and support of the agencys Integrated Tax System in order to administer revenue and regulatory laws while identifying opportunities for taxpayers to be able to file and pay easier.Primary job duties include:
- Coordinating and leading weekly meetings to review issues and enhancements submitted to the SCDOR Production Support team.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of taxes and associated tax laws.
- Providing technical assistance and training to end users and/or upper management.
- Serving as a primary tester in assigned functional areas.
- Monitoring system testing for upgrades and service packs.
- Reviewing and evaluating user requests for assigned functional areas.
- Serving as a liaison to SCDOR developers and business users.
- Communicating all system and process changes to necessary SCDOR sections.
- Evaluating all new and existing section procedures.
- Conducting surveys to determine agency needs.
- Mentoring and assisting other Subject Matter Experts with assigned projects.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Either:
- A bachelors degree and three years of relevant program experience OR
- Seven years of relevant program experience
Academic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience with the Integrated Tax System (DORWAY).

- Hours: Flexible hours may be available from 7:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. Monday Friday (37.5 hours per week).
- Telework schedule: This position may be eligible to work remotely up to two days per week.
