Job Description
About Lemmen Holton Cancer Center
We treat cancer using the latest technologies and treatments including gene sequencing of tumors targeted therapy and advanced oncology surgery techniques. We use a team approach to care bringing together different areas of expertise that specialize in any type of cancer.
Scope of work
Coordinates and organizes clinical personnel and other resources to meet the patient care functions of the organization in a costeffective manner and in conjunction with the manager where applicable. Has responsibility for clinical operations orients and trains team members and ensures competency for excellence in clinical practice. Develops process improvement initiatives based on best practice and participates in the development of policies and procedures. Collaborates with providers administrators and other stakeholders to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the services and programs offered by the facility.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) Required.
- 2 years of relevant recent clinical experience (oncology) Required.
- MI Registered Nurse license Required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required.
