Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and caring Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The Dental Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and hygienists ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic and delivering exceptional patient experiences. The ideal candidate is a detailoriented professional with a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures managing instruments suctioning and ensuring patient comfort.
- Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms sterilize instruments and maintain a clean organized environment.
- XRay Imaging: Capture dental Xrays adhering to safety protocols.
- Patient Education: Guide patients on oral hygiene postop care and treatment options.
- Records Management: Accurately update patient records and dental charts in EHR systems.
- Infection Control: Strictly follow sterilization and disinfection protocols.
- Appointment Scheduling: Help manage and confirm patient appointments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support.
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant certification.
- Xray certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
