As Controller youll bring your insurance accounting expertise and strategic mindset to oversee all financial operations lead a highperforming team and ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial statements. Youll work closely with executive leadership contribute to strategic planning and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and insight across the company.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of GAAP and Statutory financial statements
  • Manage the General Ledger and ERP systems ensuring timely monthly and quarterly closes
  • Aggregate and analyze data from multiple systems to deliver actionable insights
  • Present financial results and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
  • Oversee internal controls SOX compliance and audit processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial operations and reporting
  • Mentor and develop a talented finance team
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and our parent company on strategic initiatives

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA/CPCU a plus)
  • 10 years of finance/accounting experience including 5 years in leadership
  • Deep knowledge of insurance industry accounting and general ledger operations
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial technologies (e.g. Essbase OBIEE VENA PeopleSoft PowerBI)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
  • A proactive innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
