The hourly rate for this position is $18.94/hour plus a $1.00/hour shift differential per hour.

Eatons Commercial Product Assemblies division is currently seeking a 2nd shift Quality Inspector to join our team. This position is based at our Hodges SC location.
Hourly Rate: Starting at $18.94 with $1.00 per hour shift premium
Position Overview:
The Quality Inspector will perform a variety of specific and detailed inspection functions which are required by customers to ensure their product meets or exceeds specifications requiring selection of inspection equipment methods procedures and techniques appropriate to the product and customer expectations.

In this function you will:
Inspection of Products: Conducting detailed checks of materials components or final products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Measurement and Testing: Using tools and equipment to measure and test products for compliance with specifications.
Documentation and Reporting: Recording inspection results and maintaining documentation of tests measurements and nonconformance issues.
Identifying Defects: Detecting and documenting defects deviations or areas of improvement in products or processes.
Compliance Verification Process Checks: Ensuring products adhere to regulatory and industry standards such as ISO customer specifications or internal guidelines.
Collaboration: Working with production teams to provide feedback on defects and quality concerns recommending corrective actions.
Recommending Improvements: Suggesting process improvements based on inspection results and analysis.
Auditing: Conducting routine audits of production processes and quality systems to ensure ongoing compliance.
Training: Providing guidance or training to workers on quality standards and proper inspection techniques.
Reinspection: Performing followup inspections to verify that issues have been resolved after corrective actions.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship
Preferred qualifications:
Minimum three (3) months of manufacturing experience
Minimum three (3) months of experience using hand and air tools
Minimum one (1) year of experience in MS Windows environment (Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint)
