General Summary: The Audio/Video System Control (Automation) Programmer will be responsible for developing and programming control systems to support Audio/Video installations for AvMC G6.
Consults with the Enterprise Audio/Video Architect project leads and users to analyze functions that need to be automated client requirements objectives desired features and input/output specifications.
Writes and maintains functional and technical specifications.
Analyzes and estimates feasibility time compatibility with other systems and computer capabilities.
Develops and maintains plans outlining steps and timelines for application development testing and installation.
Researches and evaluates software and hardware options for programming or as program platforms.
Creates test transactions and runs tests to identify errors and ensure programs meet specifications. Analyzes code to determine the cause of errors and makes necessary revisions.
Collaborates with clients to prototype refine test and debug programs ensuring proper operations.
Writes and maintains documentation describing program development logic coding testing modifications and bug fixes.
Writes or reviews documentation created by others that explains installation and operational procedures.
Provides technical assistance by addressing inquiries related to program errors problems or questions.
Trains end users or technical support staff on program usage.
Researches and evaluates new features and/or functions as required estimates time required to implement changes and implements changes.
