PURPOSE & PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Performs a wide variety of duties in the Operating Room. Scrubs for procedures and assists in maintaining inventory and cleanliness of Operating Rooms. Assists the Professional Nurse in ensuring the maintenance of principles and practices of surgical processes within the Operating Room Suite.
POSITION QUALIFICATION
Licensure/Certification/ Registration:
- BLS Certification
- Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
Education:
- Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist program
Other Qualifications:
- Well organized and possess high degree of Manual Dexterity
- 3 years experience in a hospitalbased surgical service preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal customer service and communication skills required.
