Located in the Office of University Strategy the Business Intelligence Analyst is
both an expert higher education data analyst and report author. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for pulling cleaning and formatting large amounts of data from multiple sources for both regularly recurring and adhoc analyses. Using academic financial and socioeconomic data this position demonstrates best practices in conducting studies to aid in institutionwide understanding and data informed decisionmaking.
Duties/Responsibilities
20 30% Data collection and cleaning
This position works within a team that responds to requests from many university stakeholders. For that reason the demands of the position and areas of focus will be fluid. Over the course of a year these percentages are anticipated but cannot be guaranteed.

Salary for Announcement
Under Colorado law MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience skills knowledge abilities education licensure and certifications analysis of internal equity and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
The salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $50000 $70000.
This position is paid monthly and is eligible for MSU Denver benefits.
