PathPoint is welcoming parttime Employment Specialists (Job Developers) in the West Los Angeles area to join our employment team. This is a unique and rewarding saleslike position that helps people with disabilities or disadvantages secure meaningful employment opportunities.

About PathPoint: PathPoint is a nonprofit dedicated to helping people flourish. We partner with children adults and families to foster hope build life skills access support systems and form meaningful relationships. We serve communities across Kern Los Angeles San Luis Obispo Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
Schedule: MondayFriday 25 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
Compensation: This is an hourly nonexempt position starting at $23.00 per hour. The pay range for this position is $20.49$30.73 an hour (subject to change based on a variety of factors).
As an Employment Specialist your work begins with promoting our organization and advocating for individuals with mental health developmental and other types of disabilities in the job market. You generate leads tailored to their diverse skills and interests ensuring inclusiveness in employment opportunities. Providing preemployment counseling you assist with resumes cover letters and job applications. By networking with local employers you arrange and attend interviews offering support for a smooth workforce transition. Collaborating with program staff you ensure job matches align with individual needs and provide interventions when necessary. Maintaining positive relationships with clients and employers you foster longterm collaborations bridging the gap between individuals with disabilities and meaningful employment promoting inclusivity and enriching lives.

What Were Looking For:
- One year of job coaching job development mental health services or related human services field is highly desired.
- Education in social work psychology vocational rehabilitation or related fields or prior experience in sales is a plus!
- Ability to adapt approaches and strategies to motivate and support job seekers.
- Highly organized prioritiesfocused and resultsdriven.
- Must have a valid California drivers license with a satisfactory driving record 5 years of driving experience and be eligible for coverage on PathPoints auto insurance policy.
- Culturally aware acknowledges diverse employee backgrounds possesses skills to collaborate across cultures and avoids biased assumptions based on cultural differences.
